Now if the files are dumped to the memstick, would that in essence be able to be reconstructed into a firmware 'downgrade' for those of us stuck on 1.5? Well I took apart the UMD Sampler disc that came with PSP. First thing I noticed was that the metal plate in the center of the UMD disc, is rather permanent (perhaps I didn't try hard enough to remove it).
