The modules on the UMD were likely encrypted and since it was for a newer firmware, the firmware you were running your app on didn't have the keys to decrypt it.

I just bought one of the GPSlim 236 devices and want to hook it up and play around, you should add your application to PSPWare in SVN deniska.

If you have a new version of your current software I'd love to take a look at it

I've got network stuff almost ready to be comitted into the SDK. I'm just testing some of the socket stuff and writing a basic sample to go with it, I'm thinking maybe an internet time example. I have some generalized fixup code as well as some partially complete code for using the Sony Network Conf...

It currently does not support dumping VFPU registers.

I have no idea what would need to get done to implement VFPU support in gdb, and the current quick'n'dirty approach works with surprisingly fast turnaround cycles... on the long run full VFPU support in the toolchain, assembler and debugger would be definitely cool. Tyranid has already added suppor...

You could also probably just restart the VSH by executing it since that should also restart the PSP. I remember someone here figured out how to load it.

We've been talking about making a new release soon. About the only real thing that is missing from the SDK at the moment is WLAN support which I am currently working on, but need to complete a few little bits before we can start testing. I'm hoping we'll have some stuff to test by the end of next we...

No VFPU instructions are currently supported by the compiler. There is however, support for them in the disassembler.

I have been trying to get ahold of Stefan- for the past week without success to get an idea of his progress with VFPU instrs.

Update to the latest SDK version from SVN (svn://svn.pspdev.org/psp/trunk/pspsdk) you can also access that from http to browse it.

We place no restrictions on what you do with what you produce using our SDK. That said, it's not to say that Sony won't take a keen interest in you making money off of selling something for the PSP since they're not getting a cut. Sony and homebrew have always peacefully coexisted but then again noo...

I came up with a better solution tonight that doesn't require you to add anything to visual studio or change your makefiles. Just make the following scripts to your c:\cygwin directory and modify paths as needed: vs-pspdev.bat @c:\cygwin\bin\bash -c 'export VS_PATH=`pwd`; /bin/bash --login -...

Yes, I'm working on network support in PSPSDK. I will hopefully have it done this week.
