WARNING 1.52 released for US PSP

Thats right the US PSP firmware has been updated. the new version is now 1.52. Dont update unless you have a umd music disk.

Im pretty sure the 1.52 update has been out for some time now.

for the US psp? the JP had it yeah but US came out a few days ago

ahh, I see

I have a Jap 1.0 and I just kinda assumed they released it for both regions simultaneously.

sometimes they do, but not always. i just havent seen it in any news articals. btw i found out you can now update via umd. kinda interesting.

More of you HAVE TO update to use certain umd's. This is why i have two psps... expensive yes... but worth it :D

It's been out for atleast two weeks as the untouched eboot.pbp on my desktop is dated about that old.

not only do you HAVE to update for movies, but upcoming games WILL NOT run unless you update. so when gta lcs, and socom fireteambravo are released, i will HAVE to update. :'( o well. its worth it definatly. id rather those games over emulators and what not. the only thing i will miss is that backgrounds that i can put of my own.
