Spout (another port)

Post by ReKleSS »

Hi all,
Finished my next butchering... er... porting project. This time it's spout (http://code.mizzenblog.com/thing/spout), a weird cave flier type game. Instead of just flying straight through, you'll need to erode your way through using your thrust. It makes for very different gameplay compared to a normal cave flier. I've included the 1.5 kxploit stuff this time.

Download: http://www.innerworldadventures.com/spout.tar.bz2

Enjoy!

(Although the code is much cleaner this time because the system interface was abstracted from the game itself, the code it still quite a mess. Same disclaimer as for kobo applies regarding making your brain hurt.)

I'd never seen this game before, but it has nice, fresh gamplay; gotta love the arcade feel. Keep up the good work :)

this game rocks!

been playing it for a little bit, really addictive.

one suggestion is when its paused, being able to unpause with a press of the booster button (X, or []). not a big issue, but i did die a couple times from it :S

Hazuki: Done. The file was uploaded over the old one, I never noticed that problem because until now I'd never paused the game...
