i believe the non-swapping thing is new.. so let me get this straight, i can buy a 1.5 (but not 1.51 or 1.52) psp and run any homebrew/emulators i want on it now??

i would prefer to get a higer firmware version than 1.0 so i can resume mp3 playback..

Yep homebrew is working, without swapping, on 1.5.

You have to run the HB through the exploit app before you can run it, but its simple enough.

If you cosider "new" to be 3 weeks old then yes this is a brand new topic.
