When I am playing a platformer, if I press circle (CTRL) or triangle (SHIFT) to jump while pressing a direction it will act as if that directional button is being held down until I press the button again. By the time I press the button again I end up in a pit or run into an enemy or something, help!

Re: on screen keyboard
found a nice little trial program that I have been playing with that puts a virtual keyboard on the screen, and it seems to function great, it is interactive with the mouse feature, however, I'm not sure how to map a left mouse click to select a letter, anyone have any ideas? I would love to have this ability at the command prompt, Map the keys in the config file, then switch to mapped mode at start. Or use a dos shell with mouse support. Unless I'm misunderstanding you.
