I suppose you can read offline html docs, but there's not much need for that. There's also older JAVA stuff, but that stuff is pretty old. The browser in the PSP would probably be better for that sort of thing. I suppose the main reason try these things is just simply to see if it can be done. That...

there are thousands of 8byte integer bit patterns that when loaded as fld get munged It's about the 80 bit full-precision fpu content which are left fully intact when loaded/stored from/to memory, so they're fine with doing 10 byte moves using the fpu. I don't remember the details, but it looked li...

The only game I've seen similar graphical glitches in so far is in Pixeljunk Monsters, (but unlike jim above I haven't seen any glitches in burnout paradise; And I've been playing it quite extensive lately- nor warhawk, but I don't play warhawk that often to be honest.). I don't know if it's related...

I was thinking the BlueBox from the Mac OS X beta recompiled for the PSP would absolutely fly, not that Apple would ever leak it, but I'm sure if there was a legit MacOS for PSPS people would buy it. BlueBox (aka Classic) is not an emulator- it's a runtime environment which requires a PowerPC under...

just try assign the PVR to the PVR of the 7400 and recompile sheepshaver to see if it does any difference just to be sure, but really I don't think it will- judging from your screenshots the boot process got past all hardware initialization done by the ROM- infact it will all be done as soon as you...

I will look into it someday, but by judging from your screenshot it seems you got sheepshaver running already- I'm 99% certain it hangs when it tries to initialize appletalk, try disable any serial ports that may be exported by sheepshaver (in the configuration file) and see if that helps. Thank yo...

I shouldn't be that hard to get sheepshaver up and running however, I might look into that someday when I'm bored. I hope you get bored soon! ;-) It seems that I get close to having SheepShaver running on the PS3, but it hangs during startup -- see screenshot . There are so many different ROMs and ...

No MOL doesn't work on PS3, it's not trivial to port it either because the current kernel module don't support 64 bit processors (such as the 970 and the Cell). I haven't been developing MOL since 2001 so I'm not really up to date when it comes to the linux interface, However I know that 2.6.x broke...

Although I may not contribute in the very near future due to a busy schedule at this time of the year, I will certainly look into this project (but I don't know when or if it will happen, so I know this post will be interpreted mostly as vapor), I just wanted to post to possibly encourage that there...

Re: Binary for Ubuntu
Kernel module and Xorg module builds and runs without any issue, awesome work guys. Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon (VESA mode 11) Could you possibly post instructions how to install rsx to ubuntu 7.10 (Maybe with some binary files attachments to speed up installation) Thnx It's very straight forward, Jus...
