Would it be possible to implement color space conversion from YPbPr to RGB through component? This would make the component cable useful on any VGA monitor that supports sync on green.

Would it be possible to render just the even lines and then just the odd lines at next frame? So instead of interlacing frame 1 into odd lines and even lines and then rendering it, Render frame 1 with odd lines, render frame 2 with even lines. Output the interlaced picture directly. Since s-video cable don't support games it's out of the question. My plan is to connect the PSP to devices such as beamers or LCD-screens that handles sync on green. (which both my monitor and beamer does). I know of devices, but since most of these are bigger than the psp it kinds of ruins it all. ...

RGB-output from component on PSP2000?
Currently the PSP2000 component output uses YPbPr color space, is it possible to force RGB instead?
This should depend on the chipset that outputs video, but it has been done on both the PS2 and the Xbox.
