Just wondering, with the information we have now, including the hardware tutorial, what are the next steps to get this device functioning? He was to release the software tutorial, but unfortunately, it looks like it's not to be. I'm guessing we still need info on how to program this chip. How feasib...

Please help with Linux Installaton (Mega Man Tutorial)
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help. I have a fat PS2, and am trying to install BlackRhino to the hard drive (not USB), as per the tutorial, and I'm failing at the first step after bash has been loaded. I can't partition my hard drive! I use fdisk /dev/ide/host0/bus0/target0/lun0/disc and the m...

Yes, I'm well aware that most phones did at one time have serial interfaces so that you could connect a serial cable to it, and send AT commands. My phone does not have a serial interface (rs232). The only compatible cable for it is USB (providing a serial over usb link). Bluetooth is awesome but it...

I'm really interested in this project as well. The goal of my project is to send and receive At commands with phone... this would be made immensely easier if I could simply use the USB interface with it. Of course, I'd have to write the serial over usb drivers for phone, but this would still be awes...

Hey everybody, sorry to double post, just updating on where this is going. So i'm sure this isn't news to a lot of you, but I've ascertained that to send AT commands to a cell phone over IrDA, an IrComm connection will need to be established. The good news is that PSPIrda application already impleme...

Hey angelo, thanks for the tips. I think I will purchase a IR usb dongle to interface my PC with the phone and see how that works. I could possibly capture some of the AT commands sent from the pc, and see if the PSP is capable at the least of re-sending these commands to the cell phone. Minimal fun...

Possible IR application
Hello all. I've had an idea for a psp program I'd like to try to write. The program would make use of the IR port to send AT commands to and receive feedback from a phone. I would appreciate it if somebody would answer some questions for me. For this idea to work, would one need to write a serial te...
