PS2 Indy work on PSTwo (SCPH-70012)?

I've got a new PS2 Slimline model, 70012, and I can't seem to get the Indy exploit to work on it. I just got CodeBreaker v9 and can upload the replacement BADATA just fine to the MC, but anytime I put in any of the listed PS1 games I have (all 3 of them are on the list), nothing, straight to the PS1...
