hermes: do you mean it does not return -17? If correct, this is great news as we basically have a fix for the 2.1 FW issue until it gets patched again. Can you paste the dmesg log? Also can you check Xorg runs fine in this case? It return status=0 but the driver fail because it allocate 0 bytes... ...

hermes, Ctrl1 e2014ac e201448 just means that DMA engine of RSX read FIFO buffer. Any advance in ctrl regs does not mean success of execution. d-range, any nontrivial push buffers. So you must memset( 0 ) fifo buffer, make lv1_gpu_context_attribute call, dump fifo bufer ( if there are any non zero values ). I hate Cdloader. Cdloader is a stolen code used for illegal purposes, but that code cannot load commercial applications using UMCDR.
