There is a psp keyboard coming in october or somethin. I think that would make this totally worth it. I've tried the psp-irc done in java and it kinda bites hard to type things in the psp.

I have a 1.51 psp, and a 1.5. I've tried upgrading hte 1.51 to 1.52, and it tells me it cannot do that. Because the bettery charge is low (100%). Tested this with both batteries, same thing. One of them was new. wiped off my memory stick plenty of times, and redownloaded it. Same thing. This isn't e...

The people who made the port for psp are in japan. But the major issue is hardware acceleration. You could ask your friend about it i suppose, but it would probably break up his dealings with sony, and could lose him his job as a developer.

use the psp toolchain, and you can basically rename the elf that comes out to .pbp (at least that worked for me with the hello world script)

Why would you scrap mp3? Many formats use mp3 underlying video (my entire southpark collection and half my movies). Maybe use the other ones temporarily to get working, but by all means do not scrap it.

Btw... are we using both procs yet? We have the media proc and the main one...

well, psp toolchain doesn't really have much specific for just the psp yet, so not much of a reason to use it. (correct me if im wrong.) Ps2sdk is what nem used for hello world, and I have used it without any problems.

But I'm still learning c, so I could be very wrong in advising the ps2sdk.

if you use the ps2sdk, elf2pbp, and pspe, it is really easy to get it working. Try compiling nems hello world, it even has a readme. If you install the latest ps2sdk, you have to change a few of the directories in the mk.bat but thats really it.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/psplinux is where everything is going to happen.

Psplinux.org...
The guy who owns DS-Linux does that site, and he's a complete retard.
I've abandoned their forums, he added a filter on the forums that changes "psp" into "Nintendo DS".

No joke.
