Mixing C++ and Lua
Although there is some discussion reguarding this in the sticky, it is unclear to me if there is some way to call Lua functions from C or vice versa. Thanks in advance for help if I have missed something that is obvoius.

Are you asking about sockets in general or specifically for PSP? If you are asking about sockets in general then this is probably not the right forum for this question, if you are asking about specifically about the PSP then search for the WiFi sample released by Psppet. It is actually quite complic...

It is true that it is baised such that the original random function generates a number on a range such that the highest number does not divide evenly. This is somewhat negligable when the random number function has extremely large intervals and is acceptable for the average program. Edit: This can b...

There is an article about a PS emulator running nearly full speed on PSP on http://www.pspupdates.com. Does this have anything to do with you?

Sample does not compile
I installed the psp toolchain and sdk as per the tutorial on another website (I dont have a link handy but theres really only one). Everything is installed and the sdktest compiles fine but the sample under utility/netconf gives errors about sceCtrlData, PSP_CTRL_SELECT and PSP_CTRL_CROSS being unde...

You need to go to network settings (outside the program) and set IP settings to manual instead of automatic and manually put in an IP and the Router IP. If you aren't technical enough to figure out the right IPs then I don't really know why you are on ps2dev, but you are pretty much out of luck unti...

It seems to me that if sony had any form of officially supported homebrew that it would be easier for them to prevent piracy, as the honest people who don't support piracy (many people on this forum do not) would no longer be trying to circumvent their security measures. There is already rumors abou...

This is not productive in any way and condones activities that are illegal. One of the major reasons noone here is using the official SDK outside of the moral issues is that if everything is discovered without any illegal activities than Sony has no legal basis to stop people from doing what they ar...

Except without understanding how the files are encrypted/compressed/signed then there is no way to run code on the PSP 1.5+ firmware, although I admit that it still seems extremely unlikely that we will be able to sign and encrypt our own programs anytime in the near future. If no exploitable bug ca...

I assume it would work in a similar fashon to the XBOX save game exploit. In which you load the modified save game in a specific game thus resolving the issue of encryption differing from game to game. Except for the fact that we don't know how to encrypt for even one game, and I believe that sever...

This would be more effective if you could decrypt existing save files using the api, otherwise you will have to create a save file from scratch which would be harder to create a buffer overflow for assuming there is any checks for valid data... This is all assuming that the encryption is not differe...

I think that update 2.0 is around the corner and I guess that then everyone with a 1.50 firmware can use this too? I think you misunderstand. All this program is doing is taking any file you want, and putting it inside known headers just to make it show up on the psp when you go to the 'games' tab....
