Ok i had my brother who speaks and reads japanese translate the website and the new charset being added is Korean. other than that the machine translation is spot on.

i realize that getting remote programs to work would be difficult but they make javascript ftp programs that one could use? Might that work?

but it would BYPASS the encription and we would have a way to run apps through the psp without having to crack the encryption. I realize that it would be hard to do games, but javascript is adaptable and is UNSECURED!

it would be simple enough and we wouldnt have to worry about the security as much as we do now. True, javascript cant do everything, but for the httpd and ftpd programs, it could work. and it would bypass the 1.51 and 1.52 lockout.

Sadly i too have failed in my attempts. At first i thought it might be because the parental control level wasnt set so i edited the HTTPD program and the psp recognized the change, but no loading. Then I modified the info so it would match the UPDATE EBOOT.PBP but alas, to no avail. Hope this helps ...

sometimes they do, but not always. i just havent seen it in any news articals. btw i found out you can now update via umd. kinda interesting.

for the US psp? the JP had it yeah but US came out a few days ago

Thats right the US PSP firmware has been updated. the new version is now 1.52. Dont update unless you have a umd music disk.

i noticed that many are trying to go after the hardcore software. Why cant we get in through some low level system and try the back door sota speak? Yes i know star trek reference but it works for the explination.

heres the thing, the site i found is not at ingame.scea.com but at eu.playstation.com, dont know if that clerifies it but i dont think they want people to find it, cause the pages are not searchable in google, but with google hacks can be found.

I am not sure if this is against the rules so i will wait for site admin.

I think we are looking at this the wrong way. Why not capture the data after the decyrption and upacking are finished, like spyware only the capture happpends after everything is decoded?

ok heres what happend. Last night i had gotten my psp tricked into thinking ingame.scea.com was where it was going but it went to my laptop instead. Now it wont work, i rebooted my computer and now after adjusting all settings it still wont work. any ideas?
