Another update is available on website.

Once the "true drive emulation" will be working (if possible with PSP power), the version will be complete.

New version on web site

http://perso.numericable.fr/ckckck/C64_PSPVice.html

Even if this is a "Work in progress" version, this is worth testing. Lot of new things in it, more accurate speed.

On PSP memory access are slow. So if you want to speed up your display, then put everything in VRAM, or use the smallest datas possible if your datas are in RAM. If you do not need performance display, do not care about all of that. PSP can handle a nice amount of polygon even without all these tric...

You can put what you want in VRAM (texture or geometry) for faster access. But all work well also in RAM. It depends if you need GPU fast processing or not. For textures, I use mainly 4 bits textures, as they are the fastest (because the smallest). But you only have 16 colors (colors can be in 8888 ...

Following you advices, I just start a fresh installation from scratch.

This time the toolchain built well (after 1h30).

I think my other PC (the one were the build failed) have a problem. (cygwin tell me he can not create the /tmp dir, that's surely a problem).

Thanks all.

You are right. The packages are always like this. If everything is ok then it is simple, but if there is one error then it is hell. I'm going to check everything to understand how it works. The best way to solve problems is to understand them. --- No results. I bet I'll have to make the installation...

Yes I know, but so close to my goal, I really do not want to reinstall the whole thing again. I'm very ignorant in autoconfig makefile, so when it fail in the middle of installation, it is very embarassing.

I'll try to find what is going wrong with the samples.

I'm already using the kxploit tool to transfert the eboot file to psp.

But thanks for hints. The "make kxploit" does not work, but I like the idea :)
