Re: PSP ScummVM .9 FOA
I started playing Indy FOA on my PSP (with MP3 talkie) using the latest ScummVM build .9. At the Balloon ride, the game crashes my PSP (it shuts down) when the screen tries to scroll in any direction. Obviously I can't complete the game. I tried to register to submit on Sourcforge, but having probl...

I have this problem too. Even with beta 5. Any idea how to bypass the error and finish the game? No, I don't have a large enough memory stick so I haven't tested The Dig. What you could do, if you want to see it fixed, is go here and help us track down the bug. This involves trying the EBOOT.PBP th...

We've just released a new version that hopefully fixes this bug (although I wasn't aware of issues with The Dig), note that bugreports should be done on the ScummVM bugtracker, and not on any forum as they can easily be missed. As I'm too lazy to look for the old thread on this forum, I'll just post...

Our port is now part of the official ScummVM tree. So from now on, all bugs can (and should) be reported to the ScummVM bug tracker , if you want them looked at/fixed. A good bug report contains all necessary info (i.e. that you're using the PSP version, which ScummVM version it is, which build date...

Super work! Really! Wonderful work!!! I'm so happy to play the classics Lucasarts games on my PSP! Great! I found only the following bug: when I would like to choose the language on the menu of the game, the system freezes and I have to remove the battery and restart my PSP. Is it normal? I found t...

Beta 3 bug report: Music stopped working on Beneath A Steel Sky, other than that it works great. It seems to run noticeably faster than before. I just thought I'd let you know, keep up the great work. Thank you. Still works fine here. Nothing changed in Beta 3 with regard to that so check your sett...

ok I had Indiana Jones and Sam and Max on my mem stick, I deleted both games and copied Sam and Max back over and now it works fine. Is there something wrong with my mem stick or is this a general problem with scumm?? Sounds like a dodgy memstick. Thanks for the register dump, but it's hardly ever ...

I notice that people are playing Monkey 1, but when I load it, I get no sound. Other games work like: Indy: FOA Loom Monkey 2 DOTT Any Ideas? Also Sam and Max hangs up with a blue screen after the Lucasarts logo screen. Thanks for the great work! Both your questions are answered in this thread: htt...

EDIT: This BSOD does not happen in the July 18 build of OCVS on PC, so it seems to be a PSP-problem only. I moved my save over to the PC to du the demolition derby there, and moved it back to teh PSP after that. Works fine again now, will post back if any additional problems. Your original savegame...

Been fooling around a bit more to see if I can trick the system into not showing a BSOD in the Full Throttle scenario I described above, but so far no luck. I've uploaded the save file to http://www.highgame.net/uploads/ft.s00 so if anyone wants to help out, see if you get a BSOD after loading that...

This error ocurred at the beginning of the game when you set off the alarm on the fuel tower and hide in the shadows, right after the start of the cutscene just when the chopper pilots are beginning to talk. I can probably get a video dump of this BSOD happening if it's of any interest. Still need ...

You can use the Kxploit. A search on Yahoo should turn it up. Also, can the games be zipped up? I don't have a large enough memory stick to put The Dig on there :( Nope, although there are tools to compress the speech, music and videos of The Dig. They should be included in the ScummVM win32 daily ...

Use the select button to insert '0'. (READ THE README!)MikeHaggar wrote:And Monkey Island 2 doesn't seem to work because of the protection. One needs to input numbers (like 00 00) to beat it, and there's no key to input 0. The FM Towns version of monkey island 2 works though, since it doesn't have the protection.

By freeing the CPU from quite a lot of tedious pixelpushing (for sprites, backgrounds, overlays etc), speeding up the whole engine a couple of notches? Granted, I haven't looked at how ScummVM handles rendering, let alone how your port does it -- perhaps you meant that all those operations use GU a...

It works! :) Testing the floppy version, folder needs to keep the name SCUMMVM otherwise it won't work. (for the coders, to get rid of this: *argv[0] is your friend!) I also copied in the CPT file into the same folder though I don't know if that was needed. Yes, the CPT file is needed. No need for ...

Good to see people interested in (working on) a port of ScummVM. I was also planning on doing it once pspsdk is out, maybe hack up an initial version next weekend if noone has done anything substantial by then (it's a waste to duplicate effort). Maybe we could set up a repository somewhere and colla...
