If you are loading an X module, you need to use X modules for all the dependencies and dependents. In the case of XSIO2MAN and XPADMAN, yeah, you'd need to use XMCMAN and such as well. The X* modules are just newer versions, with mostly broken compatibility... IOMANX is not really an X* module... it...

libsd is horribly broken anyways (at least, the rom0 versions are, some of the game versions are as well)

Those loaders are probably doing something that doesn't work on the ancient PS2s... like trying to load modules that didn't exist on them, or other things that are not compatible...

Yes, it should... unless it just happens to be using one of the things that has changed a bit between 2.95 and 3.2.2, in which case it should just be a matter of updating those few things.

No, you cannot just plug a usb thumb drive into the ps2 and have it magically boot. The question of how to boot code has been answered numerous times already on these forums, please use a search.

It's not safe writing to the nvram. There is no space for saving your settings. You need to save settings to a memory card. That is the purpose of the memory cards...

There is nothing wrong with having feedback in the release thread. Thats why it is there.

The thread was moved to clean things up and try to keep the PSP Software Development thread reserved for threads about how to develop software for the PSP.

Unless you specify otherwise, prx modules are given a smaller stack/heap space, whereas elfs are just given the whole chunk of memory that is available.
