PSP Camera and Augmented Reality, anyone trying it?
You've all seen the video before of that old Gizmondo and Catapault, I was just wondering (since I don't seem to see any development with the PSP camera, what so ever) if anyone was trying anything like this? I think it'd be a fun project to try, or at least make a string of homebrew apps that actua...

A small word.
I recently posted on extended warranties that GAME in the UK is providing, and it was sent to the hall of shame, with a link to The official rules of the forum Here is why taking an insurance and repair policy out on your PSP with GAME is not a violation of these rules: From time to time, in the cou...

UK PSP Devs Rejoice! Never worry about bricking again!
First post in a long while, bear with me! Firmware modding doesn't actually void your warranty (AFAIK), and now if you buy mint hardware at GAME, from mid march GAME (EB to yanklanders) is offering extended warranties! 3 years of free repairs. I'm not sure but bricking is usually unrepairable, howev...

Right so I've been busy lately :D Nothing to show really, all code updates. Bug fixes: More than I can mention; New features: * Updated to use Cristophe's simple Class.lua ( http://christophe.delord.free.fr/en/lua/index.html ) * Clicking (move mouse and press X) * Three different methods of mouse co...

psp9x for Lua (New release!)
So if anyone's noticed (probably not) I've been away from the homebrew scene for a long time (mainly due to the fact that I stupidly updated my PSP to 2.71) but now thanks to the downgrader, I'm saved! :) I've been working on this on and off for the past 24 hours: http://img127.imageshack.us/img127/...

Well, Conway's game of life is a cellular automata based engine. The rules are simple and as follows: For a space that is 'populated': Each cell with one or no neighbors dies, as if by loneliness. Each cell with four or more neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation. Each cell with two or three neighb...

I have removed the sheilds of many wireless card for modification, and I use a fine tipped soldering iron along with a solder sucker. For those that don't know what a solder sucker is, it is a spring loaded device that has small nozzle. You push the cener suction rod down and it locks in place. heat...

Zenurb, please don't flame peeps in an area where everybody will read it! That's kind of the point of flames. Chill, i was joking No you weren't. This is what drives me nuts. Re: Truly Free Fonts
There is a link here to other Bitstream Vera Derivatives, but most of them have been merged with DejaVu. Thanks. In Lua Player Bitstream Vera itself is integrated, but only the sans-serif proportional and mono-spaced, because serif doesn't look very good on computer screens. Georgia is my favourite...

Are you sure? This doesn't seem legitimate at all. Phishing to take advantage of the development scene just makes someone seem like the lowest kind of shit.zacay wrote:http://home.comcast.net/~shernandez1337/PSPSOne.html

Hardware Forum
I think a new Hardware forum should be added, seeing as we are having alot of hardware discussion lately. Work by Art and Team Emergancy-Exit seems to be getting lost in the software/lua forums, and it should have a place of it's own.

LuaPlayer can only read from the flash memory, it can't right to it. That's not quite correct, because in theory a Lua script could write to the EBOOT.PBP and then after restarting Lua Player, the program could do everything. For a protection, the physicsfs system should be implemented, because the...
