I know it's a bit late to ask this question, but do you get any delay on the screen from using the card? I've been roaming around the Internet, mostly at the some forums, and I read some things like how the TV tuner causes a 2-3 second delay of picture because of the hardware decoding! I just wanted...

I have an ATI All-In-Wonder and yes, it does have composite and S-Video in. It has a special plug that connects to a special cable that has a big block on the end. The block has the audio in, composite in, and s-video in. You need that cable to avoid using the RF in. The s-video input works great w...

Re: PC Video Card
I want to use my comp screen because I'm short on space on my desk. I know there are external RF modulators (I found one at Wal-mart for 10 bucks) but don't really want to go that route unless I have to. Some picture quality is lost, I'm not sure how much though. I don't see any GFX cards with A/V ...

Re: PC Video Card
Drakonite suggested a TV tuner (I assume he meant one hooked up externally to a PC) that will work great too. Pick what works for you. Actually, that wasn't specifically what I was talking about, but it qualifies. TV Tuners used to be standalone PCI cards (and are still available in that nature). T...

PC Video Card
I have never done any real PS2 development simply because my PS2 isn't close enough to the computer I use (it isn't mine). But I will soon be getting one, and I am wondering if any of you know of a graphics card that can receive composite audio/video input of some sort to be displayed on my PC. I ha...

Yeah, because we hate it when people ask things. I'm didn't really say that. I just dislike people who don't bother to use common sense once in a while. I mean, honestly, if you could use Windows on your PS2, don't you think you would hear about it? Even if it were possible, don't you think that th...

Re: Are these possiblities?
2nd: I want a better ps1 emulator. Is it possible to write a new one for the ps2 and replace "PlayStation(R) Driver 1.11" with say "MyPS1 Driver 2.0" (I know this would probably require writing a whole new bios or something). Or even a ps1 emulator for linux on the ps2 hdd. When...

My uncle works for ea up in canada, and I got a tour. They have the official devkits with these big (much larger than normal) PS2s that hook up to their PCs. Does anyone have one of these (strictly out of curiosity) You make me jealous, you know. And no, none of us have those. Like gorim said, we a...

In one of the articles I read, I think off of www.success-hk.com, Sony has said that they will not allow ports of PS2 games so developers can rehash old games with new graphics to make a cheap buck. However, I don't really understand that because they also announced that players will be able to &quo...

It seems that even with guest posting disabled, users still one to create these one-time use usernames and create havoc on the boards. Is it possible for users who don't have more than x number of posts to not be able to create new topics? That might slow them down, if only a little bit. We are star...

What will be the learning curve for the ps2sdk. And after a newbie has downloaded and install the sdk, where will they begin? How will they start? What is stopping most of the people interested in developing homebrew for the ps2, in my opinion, is that they don't know how to do anything. There is on...
