this is subzero COOL!

I posted a while ago asking if a ORB client for PSP is possible and no one answered. I know this is far from the idea of a ORB client since PMP itself doesn't play AVI directly but man this is surely exciting news! Thanks for the good work!

Raphael: When the external power is unplugged, the remaining battery time display flashes to some weird "-445634" number then corrects itself after 1 or 2 sec.

Raphael: did you try that Silent Hill Movie Trailer PMP I posted in your thread over at pspupdates? I noticed that seems time display for playback is all messed up... it's encoded in mencoder too. weird huh?

argandona: Great work! couple thoughts: - Malloc did a wonderful job on the minimumlistic info bars while provided lots of information. And with Raphael's 50% transparent mod you could almost watch the video with them on. So the idea is maximum info in minimum form. In that sense, I find Malloc's &q...

Problem is the source you used 608x256 is 2.375:1 which is not the same as 480x272 (1.765:1) - so instead of encoding them into 480x272 you sould try 480x202 w/ top & bottom black bars - or 480x200 w/o top/bottom blk bars.

Raphael:

Link is fixed, thanks. Timezone still seems incorrect & overlaps with battery meter?

btw: detail info for each file (resolution, fps, lasting time) very cool! well done

Raphael: Well done. - No more pinching for 368x272 vids w/ info bars - File listing w/ date/size along w/ total size/free space is good add-on to file browser - 50% transparent info bars very nice touch - USB remain connected as said, cool but honestly that wmp skin is kinda outta place, doesn't go ...

argandona's GUI looks really mature. that'll make PMP MOD 1 step closer to a perfect package. I vote go w/ it, Malloc. :D

Raphael: Thanks man! but I do hate WMP..... :P lol.

try playback any 368x272 video in M4.01, press START for the info screen kinda mess the vid up - it pinches the vid for about 10% narrower - while the info bars themselves are showing 2 completely blank bottom bars (means the original top bar now is also a blank bottom bar). Edit: just tried Blade.T...

PSP ORB client possible?

This is a mirror to what i posted @ pspupdates: Much thanks to PMP now we could finally play videos on PSP at 480x272 full resolution but still this is far from ultilizing PSP's full capability at the media end. PSPAdvance got a sour reputation but upon taking a 2nd look the idea itself seems rather...

Also has anyone noticed that when use "SELECT" to toggle screen ZOOM, it doesn't properly clear the background to black when going from 480x272 back to 4:3 (say, 368x272) - the stretched image is left on both left & right while content playing in the center in 4:3. Press "START&qu...
