What sucks is that Break-In was developed on a 2.0 system... I was reading the compatibility requirements from 1.5 to 2.0 and it seemed that 2.0 was just a more restrictive 1.5. So post-mortem, I definitely wish I had had more time to get my graphics all prettied up... but considering I've worked on Break-In since February, I'm glad to be done.

i think i may have found it...

Actually, I was calling ReadBufferPositive at a very random time, and it just happened to be in a point where it could have been called up to 100 times each loop... NOT GOOD. Switched to PeekBufferPositive, and... its a tiny bit faster... but a good start. Thankz!

I finally got it working thank you all! I also got some other text output set up and now have "Hello psp" which I can direct on the screen using the arrow buttons. Its a start I suppose :)
