i had cygwin running perfectly on my computer until i upgraded hdd's and had to wipe alot of my bootable harddrive. (long story) maybe it is something in the registry or something?

what is wrong with my cygwin install?

cygwin says "export is not recognized as an internal or external command."
when i run the psptoolchain, it says this-

I was analyzing the contents of Harry Potter Order of the Phoenix for Playstation 2 today, and I noticed a module named SPU-IOP.irx. Is this for Playstation 3's that have no Emotion Engine built-in?

thanks oopo! im glad to hear it looks okay! one thing though-- when i try to compile that otheros demo program with the smiley face it does this-- http://img507.imageshack.us/img507/4592/ubuntups3toolchainerrorbo0.png oh - just out of curiosity, how long does it take to create a toolchain on average?

problems with ubuntu install

it goes for about 3 hrs. (my computer is not slow, im just running win. xp with vmware server under it with ubuntu x86 64 bit) i have used sudo apt-get install *insert .deb package here* on all the required packages in the toolchain readme. ncurses and terminfo will not download b/c there is none ap...

well, i am running xp and i have a virtual machine with ubuntu 6.06 on it. (vmware server). How would i install it in ubuntu? just do
