doesn't one of the psp2tv adapter things let u hook up a ps2 controller? but i'm guessing they used internal points to get this? Does anyone know i wouldn't mind making my own custome ps2 controller port for the psp :)

hmm.. did i miss something or did he not test the firmware mod on the 1.0 and 1.5 and trying to run 2.0+ fw's on it?

just curious if this is possible to maybe route the reading from the original and the writing to the new external memory? This way u could run a normal update and maybe have better success of it working on that psp?
