Good stuff Heimdall. The chances are these are real, since the sceCcc prefix has worked with a few of them.
SilverSpring will be pleased ;)

Yeah, but it just uses the SCE api to get a list of access points. There's nothing magical like packet sniffing going on there. :P

80000025 is an error related to the 0x100 key being corrupted which is responsible for DNAS (used for setting the time over the internet, amongst other things) and adhoc encryption. If the IdStorage index cannot be found it sounds like the entire IdStorage section of your NAND is corrupted or missin...

The BIOS for the wlan chip itself is totally separate from the firmware :P And as it happens, in this case it is not the PSP firmware which is preventing monitor mode and packet injection, but the firmware on the chip. So nope, just having written a CFW does not allow nice things like WEP cracking xD

I love Windows XP. I've never had a single issue with it that wasn't caused by my own stupidity :)

However, I'd never want to emulate any kind of Windows OS on the PSP... they are only suitable for PCs and laptops. DOSBox is for playing DOS games and nothing else - don't waste your time with Windows.

dennis96411: This may be the bug I was talking about which was supposed to have been fixed. Try pressing the SELECT key when it happens to get the keymaps menu, and see if it gets "unstuck".

Yes, put the update .bin in the "files" folder in your basilisk folder, and once running OS 8 copy it to the HDD and run it.

You just copy the ISO to the cdroms folder and select it in the Volumes config screen, then it will appear on the desktop when you boot (you need a hardfile that already works to start with)

J.F.: It wasn't extfs related. I was having trouble installing software for which I'd already copied the installers to the hardfile. I believe the problems started in one of the recent builds, around 13. Whatever is being paused while the menu is on is fixing something. However, installing MacBugs s...

Wow, ms0 access through the emulator! That's amazing. Thanks again. OS 7.6.1 time :P
edit: BTW, would I be correct in assuming that the FPU problems are in Basilisk and not just this port, and that 68040 uses FPU emulation just as 68030 w/FPU, so the best solution is just 68030?

Ah.. so if kirk is disabled its 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x1, and if spock is disabled it's 0x0 0x0 0x0 0x0
I wonder why spock/kirk are sometimes disabled in these PSPs?

Random issues preventing KIRK/SPOCK version from being read?

This is a problem and a curiosity I've been meaning to post about for a while. In my application, PSPident, which determines the motherboard version by reading the tachyon & baryon number, I also have functions to read the KIRK and SPOCK versions from their respective registers. However, on some...
