It is much more efficient for the GS to do operations in fixed point vs. floating point. If we are talking about the GS hardware circuits, fixed point circuitry is much less complicated then floating point and therefore requires less silicon real estate (and less hardware clock cycles to compute). After looking around a bit, I think it has to do with the fact I am building on FreeBSD and something going wrong with configure.ac. What tools are involved in generating/parsing this file? I dont think mine are working right :/

It seems there is a minimum delay between consecutive posts. While I can see the reasons for this, is there any way to turn it off when you are only editing your previous post?
