since psp general chat is posted i guess this is the only place.
this isn't a dev question but can you charge teh PSP via USB?

Well, it was closed because people are asked to not post non-dev related questions. However, since you did post anyhow, I am moving this to off-topic.
However, I seem to recall previous discussion on this topic (maybe it was here) that USB devices at best can trickle-charge from USB due to the limited amount of power USB will allow. Furthermore, an all-out-dead battery could never be charged this way because the USB component requires a minimum amount of power from its own device in order to negotiate power settings with the remote usb host it is plugged into.
So, unless I was mistaken on some point, I believe its not possible with the PSP.
