Tools Programmer
* 3+ years in the video game industry
* Experience programming on at least two shipped titles
* We prefer experience on at least one full product cycle (on same team from start to finish)
* Strong C++ and object-oriented programming experience
* Strong understanding of 3D math and related programming concepts
* Experience with windows programming
* Experience with plug-in programming for application such as Maya and Motion Builder
* Programming in support of the creation and processing of game asset data
* programming for PS2
Graphics Programmers (Qty: 2)
* 3+ years in the video game industry
* Experience programming on at least two shipped titles
* We prefer experience on at least one full product cycle (on same team from start to finish)
* strong C++ and object-oriented programming experience
* strong understanding of 3D math and related programming concepts
* Understanding of PS2 graphics pipeline
* programming special effects, lighting, character animation, or similar sub-systems
* experience with hierarchical scene graphs
* programming for PS2
Animation programmer
* 3+ years in the video game industry
* Experience programming on at least two shipped titles
* We prefer experience on at least one full product cycle (on same team from start to finish)
* strong C++ and object-oriented programming experience
* strong understanding of 3D math and related programming concepts
* Human animation programming tasks on a game that features human characters, such as a sports game
* Programming with motion capture data
* Experience with a variety of runtime animation systems
Scripter/Level Designer (Santa Monica)
We are looking for an experienced level (mission) implementor who has what it takes to populate levels. Using Maya5 and our scripting language rooted in C++ to implement all of the design elements: AI entities, objects, hot boxes, etc. Ultimately it is your job to make sure your level is “fun.”
You must:
·Have experience building levels for a shipped console action/adventure game
·Show you have used a 3D level building tool (3DMax, Maya, Worldcraft, etc.)
·Have a strong knowledge of scripting languages (programming background a must)
·Critical reading skills necessary
·Detail oriented; process oriented
·Be able to take direction, follow instructions, communicate effectively
Hire Details:
Knowledge and experience with Photoshop, Maya5, C++.
Shipped 1-3 titles minimum.
Good communication skills, good at documentation, critical reading skills.
Must be able to take direction
