I found this guy on eBay selling PSP freeware. See his last sale:
http://cgi.ebay.com/PSP-Tic-Tac-Toe-Sna ... dZViewItem

His storefront (PSP section):
http://stores.ebay.com/MarzE-tronic...1QQftidZ2QQtZkm

I warned the dealer and his last buyer about selling items that are freely available and asked the dealer if he had asked the permissions of the authors to profit from their hard work.

Games he's selling:
PacMan v?
PSPChess v0.8
Tetris (no pic)
PSP Solitaire
PSP Rick Dangerous
Bejeweled / Polygon
Tic Tac Toe
Dual Tetris
Snake

Devs, have you been solicited and given permission for anyone to profit from your work? If not - hows about we lodge a complaint against this dirtbag on eBay.

This guy wrote back. Here's what he had to say...

"Question from mareszah_17
anyway, what is your problem. i did post that this only work with version 1.50. and anyway im just helping people that dont know anything about what psp can do, and they do like it--NO complain or such thing. ? email me."

From what some of his buyers are telling me, he's actually selling the programs. I can ask the buyers if they want their email addresses forwarded to any dev who wants to lodge a formal complaint with eBay.

Great work caped crusader.

And I wonder if the homebrew authors bothered to contact Midway or Atari about the use of trademarks.

Locked before this goes too far in the wrong direction.

In our ever expanding list of "things we frown upon", stirring up trouble is slowly climbing to the top :).
