looks really good for a first version. speed is great (though not perfect, but can easily be fixed with a few optimizations i guess)

one bug i noticed is when i enabled true drive emulation and selected the bluemax .d64 it crashed :/

enough to play wizball and zynaps anyway i guess :=D to bad katakis needs truedrive emulation hehe :=P

cant await further versions....looks very proming

New version, minor updates ....

V0.2 :

What's new :
- Center Screen
- Display keyboard and menu improved
- Quick Save/load of snapshots (L1/R1),
- Virtual keyboard on triangle button.
- Square and Circle emulate "space" and "enter" key

Here is a new version. It has sound and some others nice features.
Not perfect, but this is another step ahead.

V0.3

What's new :

- Sound !!! (Thanks to Pop Kid for Help)
- 333 Mhz mode is available in menu.
- New keyboard (by WiDDy)
- Add fullscreen modes (croppped / stretched).
- Smooth pixels option
- Support .tap and .prg
- Wider dead zone on analog joystick
- Add dark background behind menu

Bug fixed :

- Hang in menu corrected
- Entering menu pause game
- Select=Menu Start=Pause
- Listbox displayed in menu
- Shortcut SQUARE and CIRCLE disable when keyboard is on
- Analog stick is activated for both joystick at the same time
- Can go back for file explorer
- Sound stopped when in menu or pause.

What is still not working :

- problems with "true drive emulation" option (not working at all).
- some title are really slow (WOTEF D64 is very slow, WOTERF t64 is fast, strange)
- Using arrows is not easy for diagonals (analog stick is better)
- Some (perfectly working) disk images fail to load with "?LOAD ERROR"

New version on web site

http://perso.numericable.fr/ckckck/C64_PSPVice.html

Even if this is a "Work in progress" version, this is worth testing. Lot of new things in it, more accurate speed.

i hope pspvice will soon also be running on eloader.... i would love to test it against c64psp, which is the only option i have at the moment due to my 2.01 firmware... *sigh*

My PSP is still in 1.5, so I'm not working on that for now (lot of thing to do before thinking about eloader).

Source code is open to every coder who'd like to check this point.

Another update is available on website.

Once the "true drive emulation" will be working (if possible with PSP power), the version will be complete.

Couple strange lockups during state-loading, happened twice, but seems I can't repeat it at will, yet. Just a heads-up. Keep up the great work :)

someone at pspupdates stated for the 0.3 version that if it is compiled with an updated sdk it runs with eloader.
the recompiled 0.3 version really works with it, so i hope soon someone will recompile 0.4 ...

For 0.3 and 0.4 I did not changed of SDK version (still using the same).

yes, but someone recompiled it with the 0.3 source and it worked. so i hope you will publish a recompiled version of 0.4?

Hi guys

I did get the latest PSP toolchain and recompiled PSPVice. So it should work on all firmware now. Does anyone want to test it ? (I'm in 1.5 only)

Work on 2.6 except most programs won't run (true drive emulation turned on attaching any disk to unit #8 -> invalid image press X). Autostart disk/tape image: only demovice, blankdisk (everything crashed after i did run this one), cauldron & choplifter work.
Doesn't seem to save the true drive on/off state.
Also is the sound only located on the right speaker or are my headphones fucked up ?
