Hello,

my question is, where to still find some useful code
examples and documentation on development for PS1?

Most sites are gone.

I'd need some starting point.

Thanks

I just added a link to a site with toolchain and other information.

http://ps2dev.org/ps1/ps1_link

If you find any other useful links, let me know here and I'll add them to ps2dev.org.

Thanks for reply.

I know of PSXDEV, but I am not Linux user.

Other good links I know of:
- http://dev.paradogs.com/ has some utilities

I will mirror some utilities from there to Z80.CN,
because what if it disappears like the others :(

All other sites seem have "disappeared" from the net.

I think, PS1(PSX) dev is still useful, because simple
applications don't need the CPU power of PS2 and
run on both consoles.

And there are more chipped PS1 in the wild than PS2,
so you can show your productions to more people.

Are there any former PS1 dev'ers who can help me out?

BTW, for your PS2 dev'ers:

If it's legal, maybe you would like to host Loser's Disc Patcher,
since Loser's site is gone too:

What it does:
- created correct CDs/DVDs from your image, so your production runs on chipped retail PS2s

- creates bootable "master discs" for the lucky ones who own official SONY debugging stations (DTL-H30001, etc...)

You can find it here:
