Software development?

ps2lib, ps2drv, all that good stuff .. what forum does it belong in? I figure EE and IOP are more about low-level EE and IOP development, how to DMA and things like that, and not high-level stuff like libs.

Do we need a "Software Development" forum?

I still think Software is better than Library :)
pksh, wxVU, ps2client etc exists in cvs are not a particular library.

How about merging the software and toolchain dev forums? Sound ok?

How are they even similiar? :)

Sorry, lemme be more specific. Toolchains are development tools: compilers, assemblers (GNU or otherwise), preprocessing tools, tools to transform one shade of bitmap to another, debuggers, loaders, clients to loaders, etc.

Software development is for the libraries and documentation that we use to build programs: the libraries and device drivers such as ps2lib, gslib, libito, ps2drv, libgl, etc.
