Post by kazuya »

HI all
I write to you because,
I read on the forum ps2reallity (www.ps2reality.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=48608) that hermes was ready make an effort to reproduce a media player with support of the hdd.
But he would like to make a paypal so that the work which he will carry out is gaining for him
I think that other people are able to do this famous media player with support hdd for the end of ps2,
but person is hot to do it.
here what they say on the forum, this is in spanish

I guess I don't understand the purpose of your post. Are you helping to advertise the availability of paypal to fund this private project ?

There is no doubt Hermes wrote a good media player. He can certainly ask for donations on his site to help with the development. Also, no one else has decided to take the time to write such a media player.

Unfortunately, I fear there is enough controversy around this media player that every time the topic is raised on these boards, we see volatile combinations of flames and auto-biographies. I really prefer to avoid either erupting in these forums.

The only thing I have to say is this: any person who tries to start a fight in this thread will be put on warning. Conduct yourselfs politely if you have anything to say at all.

Other mods, by all means do as you will, and think appropriate.

or advertising o2 mod in a ps2dev forum?...
anyway that isn't a method to get it really working from hd, but it's a way to patch the cdvd irx to point to a partition on t he hd and not on the cdrom drive that work only for homebrew stuff

As the population over here reading spanish, and that the pasted post is way too long and unrelevant, does anyone mind if I edit the post and crop the pasting ?
