Noob needing guidance

Hi, I'm new to this stuff but I really want to learn and im reading a lot of stuff on PS2dev. I have 2 goals I want to one day get to but need help on how to get there. I dont want anyone to sit down and teach me everything (no one will lol) I simply want sites that will teach me.

The two things I want to do are...

1) make a homebrew cheating device

2) someway hook my ps2 up to my comp for debugging (to make codes for device.)

Any help at all will be appreciated.

forgot to mention, I know how to boot CDr's and how to make codes for games with PS2dis. Some game hide some labels and thats why I want to Debug em to get the adress's. I also have the HDD and Online hookup

C'mon someone has to know how to get me on the right track. :? I dont know how Id even code a cheat device because its not like a game. Could I possibly sace the edited addresses on a memory card and have the game boot off the memory card?
