Hey folks,
Has anyone done any work on porting or writing a new OS for the PS2?
I am aware that Linux runs on it (I have the official Linux kit myself) and I have looked at the NetBSD CVS, but I was wondering if anyone has tried
What with all the progress the Haiku project has been making recently, I was thinking this might be a nice little OS for the PS2...
Any thoughts?

mrbrown is right - the priority should be making programs work with the PS2 as it is. The PS2 isn't a computer, per se, it's a console. It runs one thing at a time. Having said that, I'd really like to see AROS on the PS2. That's a nice OS that's not hard on the resources. 32M is like huge for Amiga programs. :)
I've looked at it a little since I'm an active dev for AROS (slow, but active none-the-less). I think if I get a little more familiar with the AROS build tools, I'll be able to make a PS2 build of AROS.
