PS2 Bios DUMPING

Hello,
Ok i have tried my best to look around the net the forum and even the read me files for the ps2link and dump files but all i get is
This is a prog to dump your ps2 bios to a file.
Have fun & share the info!

and i thought it would have gave me instructions on how to use it. But no
When i unzip the the files all i get is these subfiles or windows unreconized files....? I thought it was a excuetible.
I have the network adapter in my ps2 and a LAN/Ethernet Cable connect directly to my computer now what?

Can someone else confirm that this is the correct guide because I dont get it.
All i have done is 1open the IPCONFIG.DAT and filled in the subnetmask.
how do i know what my ps2's ip is. Is there a dummie guid or can someone help me out a little here.

ps2link will init the ps2's network adapter with the ip set in IPCONFIG.DAT, thats all.

It doesn't have an IP address until YOU assign it one. 192.168.xxx.xxx are USER ASSIGNED local network addresses. They can be whatever you wish, just be sure to write them down so you don't forget what you chose.
For example, on my local network, the PS2 is 192.168.0.10 (the ps2link default), my laptop is 192.168.0.50, my iMac is 192.168.0.100, and my main dev machine running linux is 192.168.0.1. I have IP masquerading turned on on the linux box so all the machines on the local network can access the internet through it.

I Know all of this i have filled in the info but all i need is a guide like eg.
step 1- Give IPCONFIG.DAT an assigned IP adress.
" " 2-Connect an ethernet cable between the ps2 and Computer
' ' 3-Now press connect on the java application (BIOS SNIFFER)
JUST EXAMPLE NOT REAL

One can argue that if you aren't able to figure out how to do this on your own or with minimal assistance, then you aren't in a position to be able to understand or do anything with the BIOS file if you were to somehow get it.

He needs the bios for an emulator is my guess.

Hi everyone!
I got myself a ps2 recently but need it's bios for my laptop. I already have the emulator, but am lost to extract the bios! I know very little of pc and ps2 except how to play games on it. PLease help!
