Serial mod for new EEGS ?

Has anyone done a serial mod for the slimline PS2 ? I want to mod an EEGS but don't want to make any mistakes. I heard that Sony was nice enough to make pads for all serial solder points, including Receive. However, I am not sure I want to experiment on the 1.7V and 3.3V lines.
Pic! Pic! :)

From someone that did the mod or saw the pads, but I forget who it was and whether they were speaking with certainty. (Note, the Vcore and Vcc were not included in that comment anyhow, only the serial specific lines).
But thats all besides the point. Pic ? Pic ? :)

Right-on! Herben, you are cooler than tubgirl! :)
Gimme a day or so for the pic...I have been meaning to do a whole series of closeups of all areas of this mainboard anyhow. :) Time to rip this thing apart again...

Not really. I lived in Texas for more than a decade and I can tell you, the only thing bigger in Texas are the egos. :)
