has the topic says:

has anybody info about non stack buffers, buffers overflow exploits.
does it is possible?
BOs exploits are all around overwrite RA register?

Especially see the links at the end of the article for more information.

The typical goal is to change what gets loaded into RA. However, and data stored in the stack can be manipulated if you know what to do with it.
