Problem with Audio mechanica: MIKMOD LIBRARY ERROR

Post by PeterLeRoi »

Hello. Have one problem, I´ve had to reinstall the cygwin (and toolchain, sdk, etc...) and now, when I compile my own version of "Audio Mechanica", at the beginning says "MIKMOD LIBRARY ERROR" (it didn´t appear before). I´ve tried installing sdk, libmikmod, mikmodlib... but always get the error :(

Somebody could help me? Maybe a lost lib.?

Thanks :)

Hi,
Interesting, this member:
http://forums.ps2dev.org/viewtopic.php?t=9107
just had to upgrade his firmware for that error to occur.
upgraded your firmware lately?
The idea that my programs might stop working for unknown reasons doesn't
encourage me to upgrade from my old 3.03 OE !

For now you could delete every instance of text "MIKMOD ERROR" and keep
using it without Mikmod assuming the program still works.
As said in other thread, Mikmod is only used for indicator blip sounds in AM.

I will have to revisit a few programs if I upgrade fw, I fear.....

No, haven´t upgrade the firmware. It´s the same I have been using lately.

I was using part of the source code to make a program with speech recognition. I´ve tried deleting instances of MIKMOD ERROR, but it freezes when starts recording :( And the original program also freezes.

Since I installed everything (5 months ago) it´s been working fine. But now, I´ve tried reinstalling cygwin, toolchain and a few libraries (sdk, mikmodlib, libmikmod...) and always MIKMOD ERROR.

Edit: When I try with Eboots compiled before reinstalling everything, they work fine. So, the firmware is the same, the old eboots work... there´s something that i missed installing the toolchain or the libraries... the toolchain doesn´t have options, it should be a lib. But I´ve installed all libs related to mikmod :'(
