SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo
SanDisk Memory Stick PRO Duo
I want to get one of these memory cards online. As I have never physically seen one I wonder why some come with an adapter. Do you need an adapter to use it with the PSP or is the adapter needed for something else. I include a link to explain what I mean.

The word 'duo' refers to the size... it is approximately half the physical size of the normal memory sticks. The adaptor lets you use this duo-sized stick in devices that require full-size cards.Memory Stick Pro Adaptor included - Enables you to use your Memory Stick Duo as a standard Memory Stick Pro
It isn't required for the PSP, but it is nice to have if you need to use a full-sized memorystick reader.

Speaking of which.. do you guys think it's worth the extra bucks to buy those new ULTRA cards with higher speed?
Like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 7519738861
Does the PSP even use the higher speed available on those cards or is the extra speed only used during PC <> MS connection (in which case i couldn't care less)
Thanks for any info!

writing to a sandisk memory stick pro duo ultra II is ~1.5x faster then writing to a normal sandisk memory stick pro duo...
reading from a sandisk memory stick pro duo ultra II is as fast as reading from a normal sandisk memory stick pro duo...
(with the psp)
