Error, unmatched NID

Post by Reliant3 »

Not having had to deal with Nids - can someone illuminate us on how one might resolve the error message stated in the subject line.

Our assumption is that NID are name ids used is resolving ordinal exports. Dumps of the pspsdk seems to list a nids all with 0000000 values. Usng the verbose flag on the psp-inport-fixup shows some real nid numbers that are not 000000. As they SHA1 hash of the entry names? Is there a .def like file that needs updating?

They are the least-significant 32 bits of the SHA1 hash of the function name.

You don't say what context you're getting this error message, or for which NID / function name. Got any more details?
