Tutorials for non-noobs

Post by soxslayer »

Are there any tutorials for non-noobs? I'm already well versed in C and would like to dev for the psp. It would be nice if there were some tuts that were geared toward explaining the inner workings of the psp rather than basic intro to C using the psp as the platform. If anyone knows of information along those lines, please point me towards them.

Something like man pages for the PSPSDK would be nice too.

A non-noob would not need to post such a question but would just look at the stuff on the main page of "http://ps2dev.org/"...

Not anti-social, just anti-noob. This is a development board. It's for DEVELOPERS, not people learning how to develop. They can learn how to develop anywhere. Folks here have neither the time nor the inclination to teach noobs the ropes. There's search and old threads for folks who know how to program, but aren't yet familiar with the PSP. If you don't feel inclined to search or read old threads, we don't feel inclined to help.

95% of the time, the info is out there already.

Only as an absolute last resort (when you've searched & searched & searched, and tried & tried & tried, to no avail) should you post here asking for someone to help you. Almost everything is already out there for you to learn from.

If you're a dev (or a budding dev), then you should know that you have to put in the time & effort yourself to go learn.

I dont see it as elitist on the part of this forum, rather I see it as laziness on the part of the one asking for the basic dev help.
