PSPtoolchain install issues.

Post by Addy »

Hello, and sorry if this was previously answered, I didn't see anything on it.

After multiple failed installations, I'm stuck on what to do. The first install lasted about 12 hours, but I was not there when my firewall asked whether it should allow the program to access the web, and it timed out, and I'm assuming it aborted the installation. The second attempt (this time the firewall was allowing the problem to access the network) was still running after over 48 hours. I then abandoned that.

I've got all the required packages, and I reinstalled cygwin a few times.

I was at first using the latest version of PSPtoolchain, but now I'm trying the 20060120 version.

My PC is running on a 2 GHz AMD athlon, with 1 GB of RAM. Apparently on a 3GHz, someone took only three hours to install.

Does anyone know what the problem is?
Many thanks to everyone who helps me.

EDIT:
This install attempt also failed,
