An idea for the windows/linux/mac Luaplayers

Would it be possible to add PS2 controller support, like what they use in the PCSX2 Emu. Then anyone who had a PS2->USB adapter would be able to take advantage of this, instead of having to use a keyboard.

yeah, same idea here
i tried openinput but it throws me errors when compiling...
i would have a thrustmaster gamepad (like ps2 controller!) to test though.... (and microsoft sidewinder force feedback pro)
