Function to change MHZ in psp sdk?.

Post by HexDump »

Hi,

Perhaps it is a dumb question, but, is there any function in the psp sdk to change the speed of the unit?.

Thanks in advance,
HexDump.

Any new information on weather OCing it actually does damage? I know one guy *thought* he bricked his by doing this, but I was wondering if it was a one-time fluke, or that it's actually much more common.

It's MHz, and no, nobody has bricked their PSP through setting the clock speed to the specified max (333). The CPU is made to handle that frequency, it's just that the higher the freq, the more power it draws and the shorter battery life will be.
