problem compiling gcc (when i run the toolchain script)

i am using cygwin and have all the required stuff installed (like automake, autoconf, gcc, patch and the other stuff to)

but my problem is every time i try to run the script i get a error problem building gcc


ill post the exact error later but i dont have time to run the script (takes it about 15 minutes to get to the point where it does the error)

so if anybody can help please do

Look at the common errors and solutions post, if nothing is found there, then post the error message.

It's hard diognosing a problem w/o an error log.

(Please only post the last few lines of the log too, we don't need the whole thing)

i just barley downloaded it from oopos site

No he means your autoconf, gmake, and other development toolchain apps (apps you need separate from the psp-toolchain script).

im reinstalling cygwin with the latest versions of the stuff and im going to gry again


Edit: after reinstalling cygwin i still get all the same errors :(

i might have to break down and install a linux distro on a spare 10 gig hard drive i have laying arround

any suggestions for a noob to linux (preferbaly a install thats on one disk if possible i only have one blank dvd left as i have not been able to buy more)
