Introducing the latest, stable toolchain.

Post by ooPo »

The toolchain script and the various patches are now officially declared stable by me. Stable doesn't mean every bug possible has been fixed - it means it is stable enough for most uses and you probably won't run into any problems. If you do, as always let us know here.

The script and patches can be found at my site ( http://www.oopo.net/consoledev ) under the stable heading. A listing of what went into the patches can be found at the top of toolchain.sh. Everything is now based upon binutils-2.14, gcc-3.2.2, and newlib-1.10.0 with support for development in C and C++. There may be a few additions and bugfixes in the next couple days as people try it out or dig up old patches they meant to send to me. :)

Enjoy!
