Yet another LUA shell

Post by BePe86 »

Just created the draft for a possible LUA shell, only for testing. I will not develop this one further, but I'm looking for a LUA shell project to join. Consider this my portfolio.

BPDE (BPDE Desktop Environment ) v. 0.1.0

Features:
- Mouse pointer that is controlled with analog stick (can be used with X-button to increase cursor speed)
- Statusarea which shows current time (HH:MM) and battery status (percent/charging), and only updates every 60 fps (every second)

To be done:
- better code organization (this is my first shit at LUA, so code is pretty Q'n'D)
- features:
- file explorer
- media players
- text editors/viewers
- (!) minesweeper
- OSD keyboard

As I said, this is only a portfolio, and if you're interested in adding me to a project, mail or msn me (both is [email protected]). I'm a pretty decent coder at PHP, and currently, I'm learrning C++ in college.

The shell can be downloaded from http://cold-blade.com/bp/lua/BPDE.zip

BTW: there's a bug in the lua os.date function. If you prefix '!' to the format string, it's supposed to convert the time to Coordinated Universal Time, but this isn't happening. Proably the issue lies in the PSP.[/url]
