think about it, linux. this means that operating systems,all usb devices,all games are possible on the PS3. I think that if sony can pull off something other than a comepletly ristricted linux this thing is going to take off !!!

please lets not cloud this forum with crap speculation
over the greatness that is linux (not that great)
this forum is for ps3 technical side of things and lets
keep it like that and not a fanboys hangout and the
possibilities that are completely endless at this point
without knowing anything yet

You mean not least because PS3 is still not running an x86 CPU, and hence a majority of Linux stuff, including drivers, is still totally off the radar.
It does mean a well understood computing platform though.
