Trouble in PSPToolChain compilation

Post by pegasus2000 »

I have installed the last psptoolchain on a clean Cygwin installation.

I've done this tens of other times and i didn't have any trouble.

But this time, i've obtained the following error:

configure: error: invalid feature name: install-libbfd
make: *** [configure-libiberty] Error 1

I think that is a change in cygwin libraries or in PSPToolChain
code.

Any idea? I am desperate.

I have the exact same problem. I have tried all that I could think of so far without success. The funny thing is that it says it's invalid option but if you edit toolchain.sh and remove the --enable-install-bfd it fails during the build.

SOLVED.

Reinstall cygwin, and NOT enable CR/LF traduction (choose Unix mode
in cygwin setup).

Thanks for the tip. :)

I actually tried that more than once, althought not with fresh reinstall. Removing the cygwin folder and starting all over, making sure not to enable DOS translation did the trick.
