#PS2Dev in the IRC ?

Hi,

I tried the #PS2Dev channel in IRC using the efnet.xs4all.nl server. For several times although people were there none of the times ever replied to me. I don't think it's an ignore question, since I only said an inocous "Hi" and alike :)

Also, I had not feedback from no private chat.

Supposing they weren't really ignoring me :) do I need to do some registration in order to be visible to others ?

I'm not very familiar with IRC things.

The efnet server seem not to have any support for registered nicks...

The "official" #ps2dev chat channel is on irc.freenode.net, it moved from EFNet many years go ( atleast it seems like many years ago to me :-) )
